tergantung dari program synchronizernya. Sejauh ini kalau saya menggunakan iSync maka database terbarulah yang masuk, sedangkan database lama akan hilang dan terhapus.
Tapi ada cara buat mengatasi itu, yaitu dengan membuat backup database komputernya terlebih dahulu. Sebagai contoh akan kuberikan tutorial dengan Mac.
1. Buka Address Book di Mac (setara dengan Outlook Express atau contact list di Microsoft Office Outlook)
2. Klik File > Export
3. Boleh pilih salah satu dari 2 pilihan itu.
Kalau pilih “Export vCard…” maka hasil export akan berupa file CSV (Comma Separated Values) dan bisa dibaca oleh kebanyakan aplikasi atau di-sync dengan Google Contacts. Tapi kalau pilih CSV ini ada beberapa data yang tidak dimasukkan (lebih pastinya, hasil export bisa dilihat menggunakan aplikasi Text Edit atau Notepad.
Kalau pilih “Address Book Archieve…” maka hasilnya akan benar-benar sama sempurna dengan Address Book Contacts, tetapi tidak bisa dibaca oleh aplikasi lain seperti Outlook.

4. Setelah itu, hapus saja semua contacts yang ada di komputer.
5. Lakukan sync dengan HP sehingga semua contacts di HP akan dicopy ke komputer
6. Kembaili buka Address Book (atau Outlook), klik File > Import
7. Sesuaikan dengan jenis file yang tadi di-export (kalau tadi export vCards, pilih import vCards, kalau tadi export Address Book Archieve, pilih import Address Book Archieve.

yang saya maw tanyakan :
“misalnya di HP ada 100 contacts dan di komputer ada 50 contact dengan (contact yang berbeda), apakah setelah di-synchronize, isi contacts di komputer dan HP menjadi 150 atau salah salah satu database contact terhapus dan tertimpa oleh database yang lain….??”
